What does Simplify Copilot do?
Simplify Copilot is a browser extension that autofills job applications on Workday, Greenhouse, iCIMS, Taleo, Lever, SmartRecruiters and many other portals, and adds each one to a tracker. Autofill, the tracker, job matches and a basic resume builder are free. You still open every posting and press Submit yourself.
Simplify+ ($39.99 a month on its standard web plan) adds AI resume tailoring, cover letters, answers to application questions, email drafts and Autopilot.
Why look for an alternative?
- You want applications sent for you while you prepare for interviews.
- You want a fit score before spending time on a posting.
- You want interview prep tied to the jobs you applied to.
1. InterviewBoost AI Apply
AI Apply finds live jobs on company career sites, scores each against your resume, tailors a resume per job and fills in the form for you. In Review mode nothing is sent until you approve, so you keep Simplify-style control without doing the typing.
- After you apply: recruiter replies land in a dedicated inbox; interview invites become prep packs (Premium), and you can practice with AI mock interviews built from that job.
- Pricing: $19, $39 or $79 a month for 50, 200 or 600 applications; 7-day free trial.
- Trade-off: Simplify's free autofill works on more sites, including job boards. If you only want faster form-filling, Simplify's free tier is hard to beat.
2. AIApply
AIApply applies for you with a tailored resume and cover letter per role, sold with credits.
3. LazyApply
LazyApply is built for volume, with yearly plans from $99 (15 a day) to $999 (1,500 a day).
Autofill or auto apply?
Autofill keeps you in the loop on every application but still takes a few minutes each. Auto apply saves that time but needs guardrails: a fit score, a truth-checked resume and a review step. Our AI auto apply guide explains how to set those up.
