Best AI Interview Copilots in 2026: An Honest Comparison

What is an AI interview copilot?

An AI interview copilot listens to a live interview and suggests answers while you talk. The good ones also help before the call (mock interviews from the job description) and after it (a recording review). They differ most on four things: which devices they run on, how much the free tier really includes, how sessions are priced, and what they do besides live answers.

We make one of these tools, so read this with that in mind. We checked every competitor's own pricing page on 27 October 2026 and link to it. Prices change often, so check before you buy.

The short answer

  • Best if you are also job hunting: InterviewBoost. It is the only one here that also finds jobs, tailors your resume and applies for you, so the job you applied to becomes your mock interview and your live answers.
  • Best free plan to try first: Final Round AI, which lists a $0 plan with its desktop app.
  • Best for unlimited sessions in a busy month: LockedIn AI, whose plans are built around unlimited interview sessions.
  • Best for the widest device support: Parakeet AI, which runs in a desktop app, in Chrome (including on Linux) and in a mobile browser.

InterviewBoost

InterviewBoost covers the whole loop from application to offer. Live Interview Assist runs as a desktop app for macOS and Windows (hidden from screen share), a web popup, or on your phone next to the laptop. The desktop app adds Deep Thinking and Smart modes, coding answers read from your screen, system design diagrams, and recording reviews.

  • Pricing: Interview plans are $19, $49 and $89 a month. Basic includes one Live Assist session of up to 30 minutes; Pro and Premium include 10 and 30 sessions with no time limit. A bundle with AI Apply starts at $29. See pricing.
  • Free trial: 7 days, no card, with 2 mock interviews. Live Assist is not part of the trial.
  • Where it is not the best pick: if you only want live answers for one interview and nothing else, a credit-based tool can cost less.

Final Round AI

Final Round AI's Interview Copilot gives real-time answers in a desktop app for macOS and Windows, with practice interviews and per-job goals for your resume and materials.

  • Pricing: its pricing page lists a Free plan and Pro from about $25 a month.
  • Strength: a free plan that includes the desktop app, so you can test it before paying.
  • Gap compared with us: no job applications. You find and apply to jobs elsewhere.

LockedIn AI

LockedIn AI focuses on interviews: live sessions for coding, meetings and online assessments, plus mock interviews.

  • Pricing: its pricing page lists $54.99 a month, or $39.99 a month billed every 3 months, with unlimited interview sessions and mocks.
  • Strength: no session counting, which suits a week full of interviews.
  • Gap compared with us: a higher monthly price and no job applications.

Parakeet AI

Parakeet AI is a real-time assistant for interviews and other calls, sold by credits or as an unlimited plan.

  • Pricing: its pricing page lists credits from $38 for one (half a credit covers a 30-minute session) and an unlimited plan at $149.90 a month or $599.90 a year.
  • Strength: the broadest device list here: Windows and macOS apps, Chrome on Linux, and a mobile browser version.
  • Gap compared with us: pay-as-you-go adds up over a long search, and there are no job applications.

How to choose

  1. Count your interviews. One or two? A free plan or a few credits is enough. A full interview season? Look at the monthly session limits.
  2. Check your devices. If you interview on Linux, Parakeet's browser mode is the one listed here that supports it.
  3. Think about the whole search. If you are still applying, a tool that also handles applications saves you a second subscription.
  4. Read the interview rules. Some employers and assessment platforms do not allow AI help during an interview. Use practice tools before the call, and follow the rules of the one you are in.
